Chanel to Open Pop-Up Shop in Saint Tropez

Last month Chanel showcased their luxury resort 2011 collection on the streets of Saint Tropez. Now the company has plans to launch a pop-up shop in an 18th century house in the quaint Riviera hotspot. The temporary store will launch from June 23 to October 3rd and sell ready-to-wear, along with accessories for the pre-fall collection “métiers d’art” and the J12 watch line.

Michael Kors to Open Largest Boutique in Paris

Designer Michael Kors is opening his largest flagship store to date this spring in Paris. The new 7,000 sq. ft. store will be the first freestanding boutique in France, located at 279 rue Saint Honoré and will feature products from Michael Kors, KORS, and MICHAEL Michael Kors.

“I am thrilled to open in Paris; I spent many years as an ‘American in Paris’ during my Celine years, so this feels like a homecoming of sorts," said Kors in a statement. "Rue Saint Honoré is the perfect street for my clients…glamorous, chic, romantic and fast-paced all at the same time. I’m delighted to be back in the City of Light!”

“Paris is a city that has been on our radar for quite some time…it’s an international fashion capital of the world," said Kors' CEO John D. Idol.
