Tavi's Scoop on Rodarte for Target
Tavi, the 13-year-old blogger from Style Rookie, has hit the fashion jackpot. Not only does she get to skip school for New York Fashion Week, she also inspires designers like the Rodarte sisters. During the launch of their new collection for Target, Kate and Laura Mulleavy chose the young blogger to shoot footage for a mini documentary featuring the clothes, interviews with celebs and editors, while also checking out the ad campaign shot in North Dakota (kinda makes us want to take a trip to that farm)! Style.com swooped up the exclusive footage and now everyone can take a look at fashion's newest muse. Rodarte's Kate Mulleavy on Tavi: "When spending time with Tavi, I am always astonished by her observations. Tavi is a writer in every sense. Her way of interacting with the world comes from a sensitivity and madness that belongs to poets and bank robbers."

Rodarte the Next Design Duo for Target's Go International Line
Target just announced Kate and Laura Mulleavy to be the next big designers for their Target Go International line. Kate and Laura are designing a 55-piece Rodarte line that will land in stores and online on Dec. 20. The collection has been described as feminine and modern. It will include complicated knit dresses, perfect for the holidays, and some rockin’ accessories without compromising the great Target price we know and love. The clothes, like all that come through the Go International collection will be contemporary and young. It’s about time the Mulleavy sisters got some attention from the masses, while they are loved among the fashion world, the Target line will be a great way for them to show off their original and artistic work to fashionistas everywhere.-Tracey Johnsen

On October 10 – 16, NorthPark Center's annual Fashion at the Park in Dallas, Texas will have over 600 seats available to all you fashionistas out there who have always wanted to attend.
The annual event will be headlined by a Roberto Cavalli fashion show and Cavalli plans on making a special appearance as well.
