Fig Media did a Spring photo shoot for Factio-Magazine.com and the results are phenomenal! “I wanted to push my style and direction in these photos as much as possible, to develop that sensitive side of shooting and expose myself to as much fashion photography as possible. So I broke out of my bubble a bit, it was interesting,” said Photographer Billy Rood.

There were two shoots at different locations. The first was at the Ravenswood Billboard Factory where the décor of windows and natural light was the perfect setting for a spring shoot. The use of a lot of white and flowy fabrics combined with light pearls, short jackets, ruffles, wide skirts and classic shorts gave us a stylish picnic-in-the-park feeling.

Lumen Chicago hosted the second shoot and this venue gave Rood the chance to play with space and light. The clothes varied from sober colored dresses to a white shirt with feather printed graphics. There’s a lot of hardware jewelry, headbands and ruffles to be found this spring! And let’s not forget about male model Jason, who showed dark denim and linen shirts and got signed to Elite Model Management the next week using these photos!
