The House of Cartier hosted a special VIP evening on Friday, September 26, to honor the rapper Common and to kick-off the Common Ground Foundation festivities. One of the events, The Snow n’ Bowl, sponsored by Snow Queen Vodka, drew in celebrities such as Chris Webber, Will I Am, Talib Kweli, Ben Gordon, and many more.

The high-end jeweler has partnered with the Common Ground Foundation for their Love Charity initiative, with a portion of the proceeds from the new Love Charity bracelet going back to the Foundation. Although the Love Charity bracelet was introduced by Cartier over 30 years ago, it is still one of the hottest accessories you can own and the ultimate symbol of love.

This year’s bracelet features interlocking miniature ‘Love’ bracelets in 18K white gold and 18K rose gold. The bracelets are set into a knotted silk chord and are available in various colors, with each chord designating support of a unique cause. Common’s Love Charity bracelet is available in khaki for $995 at Cartier on Michigan Avenue with $200 per bracelet benefiting the
Common Ground Foundation.

The Common Ground Foundation is dedicated to the empowerment and development of urban youth in the United States. The event is set to help raise money for two programs: “Be Empowered” and “Read for Change.”
