Dress Code

Millennium Park was definitely up to code for the runway premier of Dress Code. The runway was dedicated to twenty original student designers from Chicago’s top fashion and design schools including The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, and International Academy of Design and Technology. The night unveiled collections full of original designs that ranged from gauzy tiers to wonderfully bold prints. Stars like Handry from VH1’S Glam God, and Mario Tricoci got an eyeful of the brilliant fashions from the front row. However, fashion was not the only reason for Mr. Tricoci’s Dress Code attendance. The night provided a platform for the much awaited conclusion of the Mario, Make Me a Model contest. Noelle Lynch won the competition, as Mario graciously announced her the winner among the four other beautiful finalists. Dress Code certainly provided focus to Chicago’s undiscovered designers of fashion.
