S
tylish sipping is here for the holidays with Evian’s designer bottles, created this year by French Fashion designer, Christian Lacroix. Parched Evian lovers can enjoy the Haute Couture and prêt-à-porter bottles filled with natural spring water. The limited edition Pinnacle Haute Couture bottle retails for $1,400 and the Merry Cou Cou prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) bottle for approximately $12.50. The Haute Couture glass bottle is sculptured as a crowned ice princess, wearing an A-line gown with the French Alps carved into her skirt. Accents like the shawl covering her shoulders, and the clutch in both hands complete the polished design.
The prêt-à-porter bottle has a regular curved body, adorned with a frosted lace pattern resembling snowflakes, printed from the base to the neck. Unlike the couture bottle, the ready-to-wear design has Evian printed in red across the midsection.
The release of the limited edition posh carafe by Lacroix for Evian exemplifies how fashion is becoming a part of the activities of contemporary living.
The decorated bottles became available in December. The Haute Couture bottle can be found exclusively at Colette, and the prêt-à-porter bottle is at select retail locations. Both Lacroix creations are also available at eviancouture.com.
