As much as the Bryant Park tents exude a certain excitement, in particular the onlookers from outside wanting to catch a glimpse of some front row A-listers, there is nothing quite like a fashion show in a unique space. Enveloping the senses and taking creativity to another level was Gilded Age at the fabled Woolworth Building downtown. While the three-piece band serenaded the press, buyers, and merchandisers, the fashion presentation included the male models draped in the fall collection cascading the gilded staircase. In a word, dapper. As for the threads, well, they’re handcrafted utilizing old machinery and methods of construction. Bestowing a unique age-old look, the fall collection looked natural, weathered, and distinct.
