Chloe For Opening Ceremony

A must-read for this summer is Chloë Sevigny's new book 'Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony'. The book, which went on sale beginning July 1, is a complement to her spring/summer 'O8 collection. Sevigny's self-labeled collaboration with the New York boutique, Opening Ceremony, debuted in January 'O8 and was met with much praise including New York Magazine calling it a "fashion forward collection." When designing her new clothing line Sevigny wanted to make sure that every piece was something she would personally wear as well as something that she'd always wanted other designers to create but never had. Never one to shy away from the unique, Sevigny's photo book features herself, split into two, allowing you to mix and match her upper and lower body according to your taste with her collection. The book exhibits Mark Borthwick's photographs mixed with drawings by Marika Thunder, Benjamin Cho, Spencer Sweeny, and many more. You can find the $65 flip book at the New York and LA Opening Ceremony stores, bookstores worldwide and amazon.com.
