The first lady has proven her style power and now she’s gracing the cover of Vogue, wearing a magenta dress designed by Jason Wu. The issue had an eight page spread and featured her in a J. Crew and Narciso Rodriguez ensemble. She is the second first lady to be on the cover of Vogue, Hillary Rodham Clinton being the first in December 1998. Obama was photographed in the Hay-Adams Hotel while the presidential inauguration took place. Both first ladies were photographed by Annie Leibovitz. Michelle is setting the standard for future women in the White House and women in general. Now, she can be looked to as a powerful figure and a trendsetter. -Joletha Goodman
