Dismero Spent a Day on The Terrace

Dismero designer, Andy D' Auria, was a lucky man among many lovely ladies at The Peninsula Hotel Chicago, August 1st. Beautiful clothing spotlighted the creative background of “A Day on The Terrace: The Ultimate Fashion Show,” put on by The Service Club of Chicago. This event was one not to be missed with its light atmosphere, lovely lunch, highly coveted raffle prizes, and party favors by Colorlab Cosmetics.

However, let’s not forget the purpose of the party – the fashion! All the fashions sparkled against the Cirque de Soleil theme, put on by talented CircEsteem students.

A man on a unicycle happily bid the fashion house of Dismero introduction, followed by Dismero models strutting the brand’s beautifully tailored fashions. Over 300 guests present graciously applauded Mr. D’ Auria as his designs glided down the runway. The models consisted of well-known Chicagoans and Service Club Members, all choreographed by long-time Service Member, Hazel Barr. Dismero revealed exquisite designs for fall 2008 amid other designers and stores at the runway show – including names such as Luca Luca, Loretta Corsetti, Escada, Nieman Marcus, Maria Pinto, Quinton de’ Alexander, Ultimo, and Eileen Fischer to name a few. This amazing event raised $50,000 that will go to the club’s chosen welfare, civic, educational, and cultural beneficiaries.

Chicago is lucky to be home to the first Dismero store in the U.S. at 50 E. Oak Street. All the designs featured at this fashion show and more are available at this location or on their website www.dismero.it.
