Michael Angel, an Australian designer, is going to be making his debut at New York Fashion Week this year. He will be showing his collection at The Tents on Friday, September 5 at 9 a.m. in the Salon. His line includes silk pieces to represent movement of life using gathering and pleating techniques.
Although he is new to Fashion Week, he is not new to the industry. He has worked as style director for Melbourne Fashion Week, the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, and Australia's Fashion Rocks. Angel also has quite the celebrity following which include, Rihanna, Beyonce, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Santogold.
